Integrated Arts (All Grades)
Looking for an exciting way to teach biomes in science class, or the American Revolution in social studies? Our Integrated Arts Residency is the program for you! The Periwinkle Education Team partners with a classroom teacher and, together, they identify areas where students could benefit from a different learning approach. From there, our staff creates a new arts integrated curriculum specifically designed for that class. In this curriculum, all learning styles are accommodated using Periwinkle’s experiential learning approach to education. This process may be applied to any discipline or subject using role-play, characterization, and reflection to generate an environmental form of learning for students. The Integrated Arts’ hands-on approach stimulates critical thinking, builds classroom community, strengthens interpersonal skills, and makes learning fun and easy!
